Abstract
The purposes of this research were:
- to develop and determine the efficiency of a learning management plan on descriptive writing integrated with the Herbart instructional model for Matthayom 2 students at Hor Phra School, achieving the efficiency criterion of 80/80;
- to compare students’ learning achievement in descriptive writing before and after learning through the integrated Herbart instructional model; and
- to investigate the satisfaction of Matthayom 2 students at Hor Phra School toward the learning management on descriptive writing integrated with the Herbart instructional model.
- the learning management plan on descriptive writing integrated with the Herbart instructional model for Matthayom 2 students demonstrated an efficiency higher than the prescribed 80/80 criterion, with an E1/E2 value of 85.40/89.90;
- the students’ post-test learning achievement in descriptive writing was significantly higher than their pre-test achievement at the .05 level of statistical significance; and
- the students’ satisfaction toward the learning management on descriptive writing integrated with the Herbart instructional model was at the highest level (x̅ = 4.39, S.D. = 0.65).
